  • Goals & Objectives:-
  • Explain the applications of automation, artificial intelligence, precision health, and point-of-care technologies in improving laboratory quality, diagnostic accuracy, and patient care.

  • Apply laboratory safety, quality management, and risk management principles, including compliance requirements, IQCP, laboratory error prevention, and continuous quality improvement.

  • Interpret laboratory findings and apply evidence-based diagnostic approaches for hemostatic disorders, including von Will brand disease, coagulation testing, inherited macro thrombocytopenia, and hematologic malignancies.

  • Evaluate common laboratory pitfalls, panic results, and diagnostic errors, and apply appropriate verification and quality assurance strategies.

  • Explain current evidence and best practices in transfusion medicine, including therapeutic plasma exchange, platelet refractoriness, blood supply management, and transfusion safety.

  • Describe the role of rapid diagnostics, antimicrobial susceptibility testing, diagnostic stewardship, antimicrobial stewardship, and molecular microbiology in optimizing infection management.

  • Evaluate integrated diagnostic approaches for complex pathological conditions using clinical, radiological, histological, immunohistochemically, and molecular findings.

  • Differentiate common neoplastic and non-neoplastic pathological entities, including colorectal polyps, endometriosis carcinoma, autoimmune hepatitis, gliomas, and monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance.

  • Compare the diagnostic performance of conventional, digital, and AI-assisted laboratory and pathology techniques in clinical practice.

  • Apply current WHO classification systems, evidence-based guidelines, and standardized diagnostic criteria in laboratory medicine and pathology.

  • Interpret challenging cytological and histopathological cases and select appropriate ancillary investigations to support accurate diagnosis.

  • Integrate evidence-based laboratory, pathology, microbiology, hematology, and transfusion medicine practices to improve diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.

  • Upon completion of this conference, participants will enhance their clinical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and evidence-based decision-making in hematology, coagulation, microbiology, transfusion medicine, and pathology.
