This two-hour live webinar will highlight recent advances in advanced tissue engineering and its clinical applications in regenerative medicine. The session will cover key scientific foundations, emerging innovations, and translational pathways from research to clinical implementation, supported by selected clinical case discussions.An interactive Q&A segment will allow participants to engage directly with the speakers and explore practical considerations in clinical practice.

-Dr. Abu Salih is a consultant of plastic and reconstructive surgery, specialized in body reconstruction and cosmetic surgery. He graduated from King Khalid University. He joined Saudi plastic surgery program for six years where he trained at king Abdulaziz medical city, King Faisal specialist hospital and research centre, King Fahad medical city, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz medical city, King Khalid university hospital and security forces hospital. After obtaining Saudi board, he worked as associate consultant at King Saudi medical city. Dr. Abu Salih joined university of Toronto, Canada, as a fellow of Trauma reconstruction and plastic surgery. He worked as consultant of trauma reconstruction and plastic surgery at King Saud Medical city and supervisor of plastic surgery training. Currently, he serves as the head of plastic surgery at Derma clinics, with interest in body cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has also interest in use and effect of different types of fat grafting in regenerative medicine. He is an examiner for the plastic surgery board at the SCFHS.
-Dr. Feras M. Al-Shomer is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Director of Healthcare Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA), Riyadh. He leads national initiatives in AI governance, assurance frameworks, and clinical integration of artificial intelligence within healthcare systems. He is also the Director of the Lymphedema Surgical Reconstruction Program and has extensive expertise in microsurgery, super-microsurgery, regenerative technologies, and 3D printing applications in surgery. Dr. Al-Shomer is an award-winning innovator with multiple granted U.S. patents and international recognition, including the Golden Medal at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions. His work bridges advanced surgical practice, healthcare innovation, and responsible AI implementation.
