Goals & Objectives:-

Identify key hormonal, biomechanical, and musculoskeletal factors influencing pelvic floor and core dysfunction in women, using structured assessment frameworks.
Explain the principles of post-surgical physiotherapy management in urogynecological conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse, within defined clinical practice guidelines.
Design an individualized deep pelvic floor and core muscle training program for conditions such as urinary incontinence and diastasis recti, based on patient presentation.
Describe chronic pelvic pain syndrome and its associated musculoskeletal contributors relevant to physiotherapy assessment and intervention.
Appraise current evidence regarding selected physiotherapy adjunct techniques, including dry needling, as part of multidisciplinary management for chronic pelvic pain.

Learning outcomes:-

To enhance the proficiency of female physiotherapists in assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment program design for pelvic floor and women’s core dysfunction conditions through structured physiotherapy approaches.
