  • Goals & Objectives:-
  • Identify key hormonal, biomechanical, and musculoskeletal factors influencing pelvic floor and core dysfunction in women, using structured assessment frameworks.
  • Explain the principles of post-surgical physiotherapy management in urogynecological conditions, including pelvic organ prolapse, within defined clinical practice guidelines.
  • Design an individualized deep pelvic floor and core muscle training program for conditions such as urinary incontinence and diastasis recti, based on patient presentation.
  • Describe chronic pelvic pain syndrome and its associated musculoskeletal contributors relevant to physiotherapy assessment and intervention.
  • Appraise current evidence regarding selected physiotherapy adjunct techniques, including dry needling, as part of multidisciplinary management for chronic pelvic pain.

  • To enhance the proficiency of female physiotherapists in assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment program design for pelvic floor and women’s core dysfunction conditions through structured physiotherapy approaches.
