Introduction

This conference brings together leading experts and healthcare professionals to explore the latest advances in the diagnosis, treatment, and multidisciplinary management of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs). With a focus on clinical practice, pharmacological updates, genetic insights, and innovative imaging techniques, the sessions are designed to enhance participant knowledge across dermatology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, hepatology, and beyond. Through a series of targeted learning objectives, attendees will gain practical skills in patient monitoring, differential diagnosis, and integrated care planning for complex IMID cases.

The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, encourage evidence-based decision-making, and support continuous professional development in the evolving landscape of immune-related disorders.

Description

  • Loaction: King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud National Hall (Click Here)

  • Date & Time:-

  • Time: (From 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

(             2 DAYs             )

  • Identify three common dermatologic signs of IBD and relate them to underlying inflammatory mechanisms
  • Differentiate between two biologic treatments for IMIDs in terms of efficacy and safety
  • Design a monitoring plan to detect adverse effects of biologic therapies across organ systems
  • Outline how genetic and epigenetic factors influence IMID progression with at least two examples
  • Describe two interdisciplinary strategies for managing uveitis in IMID patients
  • Formulate a management approach for autoimmune hepatitis coexisting with primary sclerosing cholangitis
  • Explain the role of two advanced imaging techniques in diagnosing and managing joint inflammation
  • Evaluate the roles and mechanisms of two biologic inhibitors (e.g., TNF, IL-17, JAK) in treating IMIDs
  • Distinguish between at least three subcategories of seronegative spondyloarthritis
  • Propose a multidisciplinary care plan for the effective management of psoriatic arthritis

  • Learning Outcomes:-

  • By the end of this activity, participants will gain knowledge on the pathophysiology, systemic manifestations, and treatment of IMIDs, including the role of genetics and biologic therapies. They will enhance skills in using advanced imaging for joint inflammation, developing tailored treatment plans, and monitoring adverse effects. Participants will also adopt a multidisciplinary approach to IMID management, promoting patient-centered care by integrating clinical and psychosocial factors. Finally, they will apply updated guidelines to improve diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.
