The World Diabetes Day Conference is a scientific event aimed at highlighting the latest developments in diabetes management and improving the quality of life for patients. The conference focuses on presenting updated medical guidelines for healthcare providers in the Arab region, with an emphasis on preventing complications, enhancing the effectiveness of available treatments, and discussing best practices in preventing type 1 diabetes. The conference also aims to improve patient education methods, empowering them to better manage their condition, while reviewing the latest research and advanced technologies in this field.

By the end of the conference, participants will be able to identify updated diabetes management guidelines and use them effectively to prevent complications of the disease. They will also learn about the efficacy of incretin therapies and potential side effects, enhancing their ability to prescribe these treatments more safely and effectively. Best practices for the prevention of type 1 diabetes will be discussed, with the aim of reducing the burden of this disease. Participants will also learn how to apply optimal methods in diabetes patient education, which contributes to improving disease control and psychological management of patients. The latest developments in diabetes research, technologies and available treatments will also be discussed, enhancing their ability to adopt best practices in diabetes management
