World Diabetes Day (WDD) is the primary global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes mellitus and is held on 14 November each year. WDD is led by the International Diabetes Federation and each year it is represented by a theme. This activity is aimed at educating healthcare providers regarding the latest update on the management of Diabetes and the latest approved class of medications. Also, we aim to cover the Diabetic patient journey in healthcare settings and to recognize challenges in the transfer of care level. This include the diagnosis and management of diabetes in outpatient, inpatient, emergency and intensive care focused management of diabetes.

By the end of the symposium, participants will be equipped to apply medical, pharmacological, and practical considerations in diabetes care across different settings. They will gain strategies for managing both stable and unstable diabetic patients, perform risk stratification, and develop individualized care plans. Additionally, participants will integrate expert insights into their practice, enhancing their approach with the latest advancements in diabetes management.
